My friends lamborghini issue. Sorry Donovan.

Hey, guys I wanted to share with you a great story of a friend I have that lives in OKC that has a Lambo he uses for promotional and advertising shoots. He has a couple exotics and never really drives them because he is scared someone will scratch or dent them. So, all in all, he never takes them and drives them like he is supposed to. I mean, who the hell doesn’t go out and drive the hell out of a Lamborghini they paid a fortune for?

My friend Donovan, That’s who, he is so rich he can fix them all a hundred time’s over if he wanted, but that’ none of my business.

We were actually hanging out one weekend while I was there going to an OKC Thunder game with him and I begged him to take the Lambo out so we could go to the game in style. So he finally agreed after my hard sell and we were off. We decided to go downtown and eat before we went to the game and have a beer. We always to go to the same place, it’s a tradition and we are always taken care of there. Donovan knows the owner well. So we eat and then head out to go to the game and low and behold. Some jackwagon had put a good size door ding in Don’s Lambo door! I was speechless because I have never seen Don that color of red before. I was pissed as well because it was my idea to take it out in the first place.

We had time before the game started and he was so pissed he didn’t even want to drive it with a dent in it. So, He Google searched and found a guy that was actually open that he said had some great reviews. We drove over and the dude said it would be gone before we knew it. We sat down and hung out in the reception area of this place and chilled and I told Don I would cover the cost because I felt so bad. I also hoped this thing looked perfect because I know how anal Don is about his cars. The gentleman came in after about 30 minutes and said, “you’re all set.” I prayed it looked good like the reviews for this place did. We walked out to where it was and I couldn’t believe that he had pulled it off. I didn’t know what to expect really. So Don was ecstatic and I was relieved. The Day turned around and We were both pumped. I just want to thank the Gentleman at the Dent masters that saved my ass in that night. Oh yeah, and the OKC Thunder won. So we all had a great evening.lambo-dent-repair

Whats up everybody?!!

my dream car

Hey Guys I’m KD Mirna. this is my first post and i’m super excited to bring to you the information on what got me to where i am today. I love the car scene more than you know and love working in it. I am just a small town kid with the dreams of going big with my entrepreneurial endeavors.  I am just a young man looking to become a lamborghini team driver and what better way to get my feet wet is to get on the track and try my skills. I am a native to california and always have been a fan of the pacific coast highway. Would love to race it some day. I hope to one day move to italy. I am a speed junky and always looking for that next thrill. I am currently working at a performance shop in the inland empire and go to the dessert to hang with friends and race the dunes.

Whether it’s the street, track or trail i’m down to race whenever i can. That’s all for now kids and i will catch you on the next  post.

Stay tuned for more of my posts on my new site.

So what a problem my buddy has on his hands now.

Last time I was in OKC and my buddy Donovan and I had been out for a night on the town and we ended up getting dinged in his new Lambo. Man, he pissed. Who wouldn’t be right? Anyhow he just called me last night to tell me that he was driving in some weather they were having down there. He said it started off just raining and then the wind picked up, All while driving his Lamborghini again, So he proceeds to tell me he got hailed on in the damn thing. I was like, Wholly crap. That sucks!!

He was like “damn man I have a $2500 deductible and its beat pretty bad with hail dents on the metal panels.” I pretty much told him to go back to the dude that hooked him up last time. But he said they were booked up for 6 months and can’t get anyone in for a while. He’s like, ” I gotta get this fixed like yesterday!!” So he calls his insurance and the smartass on the phone was like ” why are you driving a Lambo in a hail storm?” I’m sure he went off on them knowing Dono. So he got the claim all started and decided to try a shop in Edmond ( Auto Hail Damage Repair Edmond Oklahoma) not too far from downtown OKC. He gets the car there and they were like, “yeah dude we got you..”  SO three weeks later and he said he was so amazed that there wasn’t even a trace of a dent in his Lambos sheet metal. And he’s a picky bastard! So, all in all, I am glad he got the car fixed and didn’t have any problems. But, Damn man. Put it in the garage!! It’s a freaking Lambo SON!!

The history of the iconic bull.

The Lamborghini history is quite the story. It all began in 1916 in Italy. all by the hands of one special man. Ferruccio Lamborghini. He was a creative genius when it came to sports cars. He was a very wealthy man that denied to create more than just tractors, which is how he amassed his wealth after wwII before his fiftieth birthday. By the early 1960’s Ferruccio was determined to build a sports car that would dominate the competition Ferrari. They called him crazy. Most people do that ever have the chance to meet a genius. They said that creating a car that expensive would cause him to squander his fortune and be broke. in 1962 he began working on the project then came “automobile Ferrucci Lamborghini.” He bought his huge plot of land in Sant’ AGAT Bolognese to build his ultramodern and sophisticated factory. It would be unrivaled in its field.

The huge complex was built so that the engineering department could see across the way the manufacturing operations and mr Lamborghini himself would go and roll up his sleeves and work on things that did not sit well with his vision.

The first model was to be of something special, an engine builder by the name of Giotto Bizzarrini would be selected to create the v12 engine, since being thew creator of the new west Ferrari engines. After a few more hand selected engineers where selected the 350 GTV was born. The year of 1964 was an amazing year for Lamborghini. 127 units where created and it hosted the new four-liter engine and first in-house created gear box. It had reached 273 units at its final production number. Today you  still see remnants of the old factory and its historic charm at the Lamborghini museum dedicated to Mr Lamborghini himself and a few of his works of art.

The man. The legend

Lamborghini vs. Buggatti

Guys if you haven’t seen this video it is epic. These two rockets on wheels never seem to disappoint. The Bugatti being all wheel drive is definitely a monster in it’s own. But that lambo! Man i won’t spoil it for you. You’ll just have to watch to see who takes the gold. Peace!!
